This field allows you to choose between searching by name and title, or by all fields, where you can also search in subjects, movements, dates or any other field.

Hierarchies

You can combine one or several hierarchies for the search. Use the arrows to display the specific elements belonging to that hierarchy. If you click on a parent element, you should know that all the elements it contains will automatically be selected. If you want to select something specific, check only the given box. Your search will be reflected in the top green box.

How to search in Women's Legacy?

Select the language in which you want to search (top right) and the language or languages in which you want to get results (in “Filters” on the left).
Select one or more search categories: “Character” and/or “Work”. These are the types od records you will obtain.
Use the hierarchies to refine your search. All hierarchies can be combined. (Press “i” for more information).
- GEOGRAPHIC CLASSIFICATION allows you to obtain characters and works produced in different countries.
- SOCIO-CULTURAL MOVEMENTS allows you to obtain characters or works from different movements throughout history.
- You can also search for characters by GROUPS BY DEDICATION. Here you will find the group of writers by language (“in”).
- You can obtain works of different GENRES and TYPES and framed within specific SOCIO-CULTURAL MOVEMENTS.
Include keywords to narrow your search. There are two search methods: by “Name or title” or a broader one by selecting “All fields”.
Press the “Apply filters” button to get results.
